How are we different?
Explaining to you how we’re different requires an explanation of how most lawyers work. If you’ve worked with a lawyer to on an estate plan or to support your business, this likely will describe your experience.
During the traditional experience, you’ll go in and meet with a lawyer who will sound smart and seem to know what they are doing and he or she will make things seem very complicated and confusing. He will charge by the hour. When you ask for a price estimate, he will say "not that long" but then send you a bill for several thousand dollars. The alternative is that you might have gone online to download a documents that you don't understand but you hope will work if needed.
After you sign the documents, you put them in a drawer. If you have a question about them, you call your lawyer to ask a quick question. You're surprised when you get a bill in the mail and never call them again.
The problem with so many lawyers is that they don't know how to help you understand the documents in a way that is relevant and helpful to you. That's where are different. We work on a flat fee. We support the documents that we prepare. We talk about risk in real world terms so you can make decisions that are best for your family or business.
